Cassettes

Cassettes are used to hold one or more printed circuit boards. They therefore form a self-contained functional unit. The standard provides for the mounting of PCBs in single or double Eurocard format. The assemblies ensure optimum mechanical protection of the PCBs in subracks or cases. Shielding properties in the basic design are a matter of course.
